4 cups water
5 jujubes (Chinese dates)
10 lotus seeds
1 whole dried tremella mushroom
Red jujubes or Chinese dates

Method
Add water to a medium saucepan
Bring to a boil
Add remaining ingredients
Return to a boil
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 25 minutes
Eat while warm either as a soup or tea
