Moxibustion General Winter Pattern

During the winter, using moxibustion is a great way to warm the body and support immunity. Your healthcare practitioner might prescribe specific patterns to heal different imbalances. Some specific patterns include those for each of the Zang organs (Heart, Lung, Liver, Spleen, and Kidney), as well as for some of the extraordinary meridians (Mingmen, Du, and Ren).

Dr. Hou recommends two general patterns to fight off the cold of winter.

NOTE: Make certain to complete the Introduction to Moxibustion lesson prior to administering moxibustion therapy. You will learn about the method and precautions.
