Winter is a season of introspection - a time to go inward, reflect and renew. In these gentle Yoga classes we will use breath and internally focused awareness along with flowing stretches, held postures, and mudras (hand gestures that direct energy in the body) to take a deep, restorative dive within. This practice will empower you to use your innate healing power to manage your energy and enter a state of joyful, refreshed presence during the winter months.
Meet your hosts
Dr. Juli Kramer
Dr. Juli Kramer is the founder of Radiant Shenti. Your health and happiness inspire her everyday. She is thrilled to bring you this workshop on the unconscious mind, so you no longer need to be burdened with barriers that prevent you from feeling joy.
Juli is a certified Qigong, meditation and Chinese medicine beauty secrets instructor. She holds a diploma in Chinese Medicine Nutritional Therapy and multiple certificates in Chinese medicine. Dr. Kramer is passionate about providingJuli also has a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction and Counseling Psychology.
Mary Platt has been practicing meditation and yoga since 1971. She is a nationally certified yoga instructor (E-RYT-500), certified Yoga Therapist (PYT 500) in Integrative Yoga Therapy, and a nationally certified Qigong instructor.
A professional storyteller since 1989, Mary often uses folk tales and myths to enhance her teaching, especially in her work with children and adolescents. She has co-taught at Kripalu Institute with her husband, John, and is co-author of The Five Element Orchard: QiGong Techniques for Harvesting Energy from Trees. Mary teaches yoga and QiGong in the Hudson Valley and internationally via Zoom.
