Gentle Yoga with Prithi Mudra. Prithvi Mudra is a hand gesture or seal used in yoga and Ayurveda. Balances the Earth element (Prithvi) within the body, promoting health and well-being.

It’s important to note that Prithvi mudra is not advisable for pregnant women due to their heightened sensitivity to elemental changes. Additionally, individuals with excess kapha dosha, characterized by an increased earth element, should exercise caution when practicing Prithvi mudra.

Recognized as a potent gesture, Prithvi mudra is believed to address a range of ailments, including chronic fatigue, osteoporosis, weight loss, convalescence, paralysis, burning sensations, ulcers, and issues related to nails, hair, or skin.

In the context of yoga practice, Prithvi mudra is thought to stimulate the muladhara chakra, the energy center associated with an individual’s sense of stability, rootedness, and security. This chakra also holds sway over instincts and one’s primal nature. During chakra meditation, integrating Prithvi mudra is a common practice, with focused attention on the red color associated with the muladhara chakra intensifying the benefits.
