Nini has been studying and practicing Yoga for the last 20 years. She has been fortunate to study under the guidance of renowned International Yoga Masters and Gurus in India, Thailand, Hong Kong and Colorado.
Nini shares that "'To teach is to learn twice,' I like to think of myself as a student more than a teacher, but also, I’d like to think of myself as a teacher more than an instructor. Teaching has allowed me to integrate a knowledge that has to be passed on to others to keep it alive; within that, the learning of Yoga itself becomes a reward in one's life.
Yoga has made me feel light when life was heavy, grounded when I was volatile, strong if I felt weak, humble when I was arrogant, determined when I wanted to quit, at peace when battling my own war, connected when I felt lonely; and the list goes on.
Yoga is a friend that will keep it real with you and a medicine that can cure the mind and spirit, and as a by-product, your body can flourish and heal. All this and more unfolds on the mat."
